American University in Dubai Scholarships 2024

Many students have the aspiration of studying in the United States but the universities and the scholarships from the U.S. have high requirements and also are much more expensive compared to other universities. However, students can also experience the American Education system through many American universities around the world. One of them is the American University in Dubai or AUD. AUD is one of the first universities that brought the American educational system to the United Arab Emirates. The university is home to a vast majority of international students thanks to its annual scholarship programs. At the time, the University has offered its fully funded scholarships for the academic year 2024.

With this new fully funded scholarship program, students can get the chance to pursue either a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree. Candidates are also able to choose from a variety of fields and majors and select their dream field. The scholarship also comes with lots of financial and academic benefits. AUD will pay the full tuition fees for students for their full study program. Students have a high chance of being accepted as there are numerous scholarship programs available. Eligibility Criteria:

For students to be eligible for any of the following programs, they must meet the following requirements:

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Undergraduate Scholarship:

  • Students must have obtained a 90% grade average (or equivalent).
  • Open to all nationalities
  • Open to all undergraduate programs

The Gebran Tueni Media Scholarship:

Only Lebanese students who have outstanding academic records are eligible for this scholarship. The requirements of academic scores may vary based on the Institution.

In addition, applicants must:

  • Submit a portfolio consisting of artwork, articles, other audio-visual work, or any creative work done by the applicant
  • Sit for a qualifying interview conducted by a member of the MBRSC Admissions Committee

The Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication Scholarship:

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Scholarship, Only arab high school students who are applicants to the Arabic track of the B.C.I.S. degree program. The majors are Digital Production and Storytelling or Journalism. The average grade is 90% (or equivalent).

In addition, applicants must:

  • Submit a portfolio consisting of artwork articles, other audio-visual work, or any creative work done by the applicant
  • Sit for a qualifying interview conducted by a member of the MBRSC Scholarships Committee

The William Jefferson Clinton Scholarship at AUD:

Only U.S. Citizens are eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in an Undergraduate program. It should be a full-time degree in a good university. You should illustrate good academic accomplishments. Students who are exposed to Middle Eastern and Islamic cultures for the first time will be prioritized.

ICT Funds Scholarship for Undergraduate Admissions:

  • The scholarship is only open to UAE Nationals.
  • New students must apply to the Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Programs at AUD.
  • Candidates must have a good academic average in the secondary certificate or equivalent
  • Candidates must fulfill AUD’s Admissions requirements. Click here to view.
  • For transfer students, a good academic average is required.
  • Candidates must have maximum age of 24 years.
  • Candidate must pass required medical tests.
  • No prior conviction of a crime of honor or honesty, or any criminal act Student must also sign an agreement and must adhere to the following conditions:
  • The Student will regularly attend classes, and maintain the minimum CGPA required by AUD and TRA for satisfactory progress and graduation from AUD
  • The Student will join, upon graduation, a specialized position in the field of information and communication technology in the UAE.

The Dubai Electricity And Water Authority (DEWA) Intilaq Scholarship:

Eligibility:

  • Applicant should be a UAE National.
  • The applicant’s average in the High School certificate shall not be less than 80% and his average shall not be less than 2.5 GPA.
  • The applicant has to pass the verbal tests and an interview.
  • After graduation, applicants will work in DEWA for a period of time.
  • Applicants must be healthy
  • The applicant shall be of good conduct.

AUD School Partnership Initiative (ASPI):

The AUD School Partnership Initiative entitles admitted students, who are currently graduating from any of the AUD school partners, for partial tuition waivers up to 100%, based on the final grade 12 average.

AUD Senior Scholarship:

  • Students must have their “senior status”. It must be completed all but 30-32 credit hours.
  • It is required to maintain a 3.5; CGPA
  • There should not be any record of Conduct Code violations.

The AUD Alumni Tuition Waiver:

AUD Alumni who are admitted to any of the AUD graduate programs are entitled for a 25% tuition waiver until graduation.

The AUD School of Education Tuition Waiver:

Applicants must have an offer in their chosen program. They must prove their employment as teachers, teacher assistants, or school administrators.

Many of the scholarships available at AUD pay the full tuition fees for the students. Therefore, students don’t have to worry about any expenses related to their tuition fees. It is also eminent to say that the program will also pay students some amount of money to cover up their are education-related costs and expenses.
