If the number of courses exceeds 30 ECTS they are not covered by the fee waiver. In addition to that, students will be able to study at an honorable university in Denmark. What are the Eligibilty criteria for Danish Government Scholarship 2024?

Eligibility criteria:


To be regarded for this scholarship in Denmark, you have to fulfill the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be a non-EU/EEA citizens.
  • They must be enrolling:
    • MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics
    • MSc in Engineering – Electronics
    • MSc in Engineering – Mechanical Engineering
  • You must apply to one or more of the Master’s programs to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Your application must include all required documents when you want to submit.
  • Meet the admission requirements of SDU
  • Applicants are required to hold an Undergraduate or a professional one which should be equivalent to the ((EQF) European Qualification Framework 6 level). Students will be offered conditional admission if they currently do not hold their Undergraduate certificate. They will be asked to submit it later.
  • Applicants must meet the language requirements and have proof of their proficiency in the relevant tuition language (Danish and/or English).
  • The admission portal at the University is open:
    • First of Jan – the first of March for the intake of Sep.
    • First of July – the 15 of October for the intake of Feb,

    • It has to incorporate ECTS/units/credits for each course and grade.
  • Description of courses included in your transcript.
  • Proof of English language proficiency

Interview Process for Danish Scholarship 2024:


The scholarships are awarded to the best-qualified applicants according to the grade point average of their Bachelor’s degree and an online interview with key persons from the Master’s programme.

After the procession of admission, students will be invited for an Interview via email. The interview is prioritized when applicants have applied for more programs.

The Interviews are held in Feb month (16-28). It is good to check for email frequently. You do not have to prepare for an Interview.
