France Excellence Europa Scholarship 2024-25 is a prestigious opportunity for International Students to study in France. Domestic students are not eligible to participate in this program. This scholarship is offered for Post-graduate programs in several fields. The period of this scholarship is a maximum of 12 months when enrolling in M2 and a maximum of 24 months when enrolling in M1.

This scholarship is offered by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs through the Campus France. Only 26 European Union countries are eligible for this scholarship. Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be international students and not domestic and bi-national.
• Students must not be younger than 18 and older than 26 years old.
• Candidates must be accepted in Master’s 1 or Master’s 2 for the 2024-25 academic year.
• Applicants must not have a French degree and must not be registered in one of them.
• Students must not be recipients of Erasmus +, AUF, or other French ministry scholarships.

Required Documents

• Curriculum Vitae in English or French
• Cover letter in English or French
• Copy of the most recent higher education diploma ( English or French)
• Copy of the secondary school diploma if the students have not finished the higher education process and the higher education diploma must be sent as soon as it is obtained. ( English or French)
• Copies of transcripts of the recent education must be translated into French or English.
• Admission letter from a Master’s 1 or Master’s 2 program at a French institute of higher education for the year 2024-25*

Note: *If the applicant is not yet in possession of a letter of admission for the 2024-25 academic year at the time of application, he/she is invited to attach a sworn statement, mentioning  the name of the institution and the title of the anticipated program for 2024-25, and a copy of the communications with the institution attesting to the fact that the application for admission is being processed. A sworn statement for each choice of course must be attached to the application file.

Selection

The “France Excellence Europa” scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and is in line with the strategic priorities of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Applications are pre-selected by the college relations teams at the French embassies. The applications are then evaluated by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs by collaboration specialists from the eligible fields.
