Eligibilty Criteria for Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship 2024-25

To be eligible for this scholarship, you have to comply with the following requirements:

• Applicants must not be from Australia and New Zealand. All other countries are eligible.
• Candidates must have a secondary school certificate from outside Australia or a foundation program in Australia.
• You must have an offer for an Undergraduate degree at Melbourne University. (Unconditional)
• You must be among the top 3% of secondary school results such as:
  • GCE A-levels: You must have at least three A* grades with numerical grades and an average result of at least 97% in the best three subjects.
  • Most Australian Foundation Studies: Have an overall result of at least 98%
  • International Baccalaureate (IB): Have a score of at least 43 (must be completed at a secondary school outside of Australia)
  • US High School: Have a GPA of at least 3.9 in combination with an SAT of at least 1500 or an ACT of at least 31
  • Canada Secondary School: Have an overall score of at least 97%
  • India Secondary School (CBSE, ISCE, or State Board Exam); Have an overall score of at least 98%
  • Vietnam High School: Have an overall Year 12 GPA of at least 9.7 or above.
• Tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program) must not have been taken by applicants.

• Students will be selected according to their previous academic scores. Also, selection scores may vary and will be determined at the time of selection.
• You will be notified after 2-3 weeks from the time the student receives an unconditional course offer. If you were not selected, you will not be notified.

Benefits of Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship 2024-25

There will be three scholarships will be provided for students:

• The first one is that you will receive a $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of an undergraduate degree.
• The second one is that you will be paid a 50 percent fee remission for the three-year duration of an undergraduate degree.
• The last one is 100 percent fee remission for the three-year duration of an undergraduate degree.
• You will also have permission to take a part-time job.
