Applications are now open for the SBW Berlin Scholarships 2024 for students from around the world to study in Germany. Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: 18 – 30 Years
  • Grade: Average grades should be equivalent to 2.0 based on the German grades point).
  • Applicants should not have have any first-degree family member in the Germany.
  • Applicants are ought to provide proof of their poor financial situation.
  • Student visa or residence permit holders are also eligible for the purpose of pursuing studies.
  • Students who have gained funding for their studies through government or any other institution are not eligible as this scholarship program targets people with poor financial situation.
  • Applicants must submit their application for scholarship before the beginning of their university education or they must be enrolled in the first or second semester at a state-recognized university.
  • Students should also have volunteering experience in the social sector.
  • Candidates who have resided in Germany for 18 months before the this scholarship’s application are not eligible.

And it is also mentionable that if students fail 3 exams during their studies, they will be terminated from the scholarship.

Students who fail to provide enough information about their extracurricular activities in the social sector might also be taken out of the scholarship program. After the graduation, students must report to SBW Berlin and submit copies of their diploma and other certificates of achievements.
