    • Must be their first time earning a Master’s degree

Benefits of the University of Otago Scholarships 2024-25


Applicants who win this scholarship are going to receive the following coverages. The coverages vary based on the degree:

For Graduate program: 

    • An Annual of NZ$17,172.
    • Coverage of Tuition fees (Domestic)

For the thesis component of the post-graduate program,  there is coverage only for one year of enrolment, and must be full-time. The tuition fee is also partially covered. Tuition fee varies for International students and might be higher than domestic tuition fees.

For the Doctoral program:

  • Annual stipend of NZ$30,696.
  • 3 years of Coverage of tuition fees (Domestic)
