Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters/PhD Scholarships 2024
The Erasmus Mundus Scholarships program is one of the most popular opportunities among students intending to study abroad. We are here to inform you that the scholarship is now available for the academic year 2024 for international students to pursue higher education in the Europe for free. With this scholarship, students can pursue a master’s and Ph.D. degree without costing them any money. As this program is fully funded, it will cover all study-related costs including but not limited to full tuition fees, insurance, transportation fees and other mandatory costs.
The program is offered and supported by the European Commission, an organization that has been actively providing educational opportunities for international students. One of them being the Erasmus Mundus scholarship which is an annual program.
Students will have to choose from universities in the Erasmus+ program partner countries. The program is specifically open to EU nationals and North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey. Eligibility Criteria:
- Only partner countries are eligible for this scholarship. The partner countries are EU and non-EU countries that have established a National Agency and which participate fully in the Erasmus+ program.
- The partner countries are those that do not participate fully in the Erasmus+ program.
- All non-Erasmus+ program countries are considered partner countries.
- Applicants should either be graduated with a bachelor’s degree or be at the end of their studies.
- Candidates must fulfill the Language requirements. A score of 5 in IELTS and applicants are not required to pose GRE or GMAT scores.

The Erasmus Mundus Catalogue is updated every year and lists the Master’s degree programs that the European Union currently supports.
Please note that most of these programs offer Erasmus Mundus scholarships; some do not if:
- being at the end of their funding period
- or students are temporarily permitted to utilize the Erasmus Mundus name following the completion of their funding period.
Remember that applicants will be asked to send their application for courses that start in the following year. (October and January).
